Collars are made of Super Heavy BioThane material and sewn together. They can also be made in standard BioThane upon request. The super heavy offers a smoother texture then standard. Super heavy is 4mm thick. Standard is 2.5mm thick. Regardless of the thickness both types offer the same strength level. We opt to sew our products to give better strength and durability than rivets.
BioThane is considered a "Vegan Leather". It's more durable, stink proof, water proof, easily cleaned and maintained compared to actual leather. Please see our what is Biothane section for more in dept information.
You may choose to two tone your item and have your pets name/info etched. See the add on page for the options.
For our collars we use stainless steel buckles or black. If you would like any other type of hardware it can be done upon request.
BioThane is not indestructible, will last longer then leather but like all things will eventually wear specially if being dragged on the ground and over sharp rocks. Inspect your product for defect every so often to insure there are no break points to prevent pets from getting away.
